Join the team as a Maintenance Worker III at Jasper National Park, operating as a Marmot Pit Operator with Parks Canada. This role involves significant outdoor tasks with heavy machinery management. As a Marmot Pit Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the pit site, including monitoring incoming materials and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

You'll work independently in an outdoor setting from April to November, helping ensure sustainable practices are upheld in Parks Canada’s mission to protect national resources. Key Responsibilities:
Manage heavy machinery operations and site maintenance
Conduct inspections of incoming materials for contamination
Oversee access to pit site for approved users
Mediate conflicts between site users effectively
Keep detailed logs and site records for accountability Requirements:
Secondary school completion or relevant experience
Valid Class 5 Driver's License essential
Experience with heavy equipment operations required
