Shape the future of tourism as the Chief Executive Officer at Destination British Columbia, focusing on economic development and sustainability. Reporting to the Board, you'll lead a multifaceted organization involved in destination marketing, analytics, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a leader with a cooperative spirit and strong political acumen to balance economic and destination stewardship. Key Responsibilities:
Set the strategic vision for tourism development
Facilitate collaboration between government, industry, and Indigenous groups
Oversee marketing strategies for British Columbia’s tourism sector
Inspire organizational efforts across diverse functions
Drive data-informed decision-making for sustainable growth Requirements:
Extensive experience in executive management
Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement
Deep understanding of brand identity and tourism marketing
