UBC's Library seeks a creative, service-driven Reference and Instruction Librarian for a full time, 12-month position starting January 1, 2027.

You will support research excellence and enhance student learning through collaboration with faculty. Candidates with up to two years of experience are welcomed to apply. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with academic departments to improve library services
Develop and maintain teaching and research instructional content
Engage faculty in promoting information literacy benefits




Provide specialized reference and research assistance
Participate in career development and relevant committees Requirements:
Graduate degree in library or information science
Expertise in instructional design and reference services
Familiarity with key developments in educational technology
Understanding of academic library systems
