Become a vital part of Peel Region's Tuberculosis Prevention Team as a Public Health Nurse. This full time position offers a hybrid work model enhancing community health through education and resource provision. In this role, you will engage in case management of Latent TB Infection and provide crucial health education.

You will collaborate with healthcare specialists and facilitate community engagement. This position not only allows you to apply your nursing skills but also contributes significantly to the public health landscape in Ontario. Key Responsibilities:
Manage TB cases and facilitate assessments for newcomers
Administer Tuberculin Skin Tests in various settings
Advocate for health promotion and equitable care
Participate in policy and program development initiatives
Foster inter-sectoral partnerships with community health agencies Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
Registered Nurse license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience in TB case management preferred
Valid CPR certification
Ability to travel within the Region with a full G driver's license Utilize your nursing expertise to strengthen public health initiatives at Peel Region.
