Engineering Manager Vancouver, BC | Full-time | On-site Base salary: $115,000-$140,000 CAD + ESOP Kinitics Automation is scaling advanced SMA-based actuation systems for demanding industrial applications. We are expanding our product lines and need a leader who can manage technical teams to bring engineered-product concepts to reality. This role is a fit for someone who enjoys building structure inside a fast-moving engineering setting.

You'll help keep programs on track, align internal teams, and support the delivery of complex R&D; and commercialization projects. Opportunities to take a hands-on role exist for those that posses design acumen in mechanical and electrical disciplines. You'll help ensure the engineering organization can deliver reliably while conforming to the standards required for industrial-grade products.

What you'll do - Guide electro-mechanical product designs through every phase of its lifecycle.
Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams working on SMA-based motion control products.
Manage timelines, budgets, priorities,



and cross-functional coordination across R&D; and commercialization efforts.
Support pilot deployments, both remotely and in the field
Improve engineering processes, reporting, and team execution against demanding technical standards.

What we're looking for - Background in engineering, technical project management, and product design.
Experience managing projects, deliverables, and technical teams in hardware, industrial, or R&D; settings.
Robust organizational ability and comfort operating across multiple priorities.
A practical leadership style with the ability to create alignment and momentum. Nice to have - Experience with hardware development cycles, pilot programs, or manufacturing scale-up.
