Embark on your agronomy journey with Syngenta Canada as a Crop Protection Development Intern. This position based in Red Deer, AB, is designed for hands-on training in crop research and development. Working with Syngenta’s R&D; Team, this internship from May to August 2027 will expose you to key aspects of crop protection for key Canadian crops.

Ideal for students in agricultural fields, this role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and practical data management skills essential for successful product development in agriculture. Key Responsibilities:
Operate small agricultural machinery and research tools
Conduct in office trials for experimental crop products
Collect data and ensure adherence to research procedures
Recognize different crop stages and pests
Oversee the upkeep of research sites and related activities Requirements:
Currently studying in an agriculture-related program
Minimum Class 5 driver's license needed
Ability to perform outdoor work, lifting 20 lbs
Comfortable with respirator equipment
