NTPC seeks an Electric Powerline Technician in Hay River, NT, to perform essential construction and maintenance for electrical distribution systems. Support communities by ensuring reliable power transmission. In this Journeyperson role within the Transmission Distribution Operations Division, you'll handle all aspects of electrical systems from substations to streetlights.

Your responsibilities will include restoring power after disturbances, constructing lines, and applying safety protocols diligently. Working closely with other trades, you will enhance NTPC's commitment to safety culture and improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and inspections of electrical systems
Restore power lines and distribution systems




Construct and install recent transmission lines
Support apprentices and contractors in their work
Follow health and safety regulations consistently Requirements:
Journeyperson Power Lineperson certification required
Five years’ direct experience in the field
Valid Class 3 driver’s license with necessary endorsements
Knowledge of high voltage equipment and testing
