Empower transitional aged youth in Toronto as a Senior Developmental Service Worker at Springboard. This full-time role focuses on fostering independence through targeted support and innovative programming.
In this permanent position, you will help youth with developmental disabilities transition from child welfare to independent living. Your role includes collaborating on individualized goal plans and facilitating community integration programs. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with youth on goal planning and achievement
• Provide effective service delivery and support programs
• Guide Junior Developmental Service Workers in daily tasks




• Conduct life skills facilitation and group programming
• Ensure safety and emotional support during activities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Social Services or related fields
• At least two years' experience with developmental disabilities
• First Aid and CPI certifications required
• Solid facilitation and crisis management abilities
• Understanding of the developmental services framework
