Wage:

$46.57 per hour + benefits according to Union Local 506 collective agreement (full-time position)

Location of Work:

Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

Load and unload construction materials; move materials to work areas

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps at construction sites

Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete, traffic topping and hot rubber

Assist various tradespersons in construction activities

Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment

Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers,



compressors and pumps

Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working in high-rise construction

Working at Heights Certificate, WHMIS, OHSA in 4 steps, Confined Space Safety Training and Scissor Lift Training

Must be able to lift 50 lbs without strain

Ability to follow instructions

Team player with a positive attitude

Capable of working in a quick-paced labour-intensive environment

Able to work at heights

Able to follow and obey health and safety rules

Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
