Provide compassionate support as a Guest Attendant at Aspira Douglas Crossing in Uxbridge, Ontario. This part time role is integral to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
As part of the dedicated retirement team, you will engage in meaningful interactions with seniors, helping them with daily tasks while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will be guided by the Director of Wellness and collaborate with fellow team members to uphold the wellness and engagement of residents. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and dining
• Monitor residents’ health and communicate changes to supervisors
• Answer call bells and provide assistance promptly




• Conduct light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Participate in recreational activities to enhance resident engagement
Requirements:
• Must hold a Safe Serve certification with one year of relevant experience
• Familiarity with elderly care and proper handling procedures
• Proficient in English for effective communication
• CPR training is preferred
• Completion of high school education required
