In this role, you will craft high-impact messaging, manage key fundraising events, and develop fundraising strategies that resonate with the audience. Teamwork with the editorial and marketing departments will be central to your success. Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit communications for fundraising initiatives
Organize The Walrus Gala's online/live auction
Expand online giving and membership programs
Collaborate with editors and management on audience engagement
Create direct mail and digital fundraising strategies Requirements:
Proven experience in fundraising or campaign management
Excellent copywriting for digital engagement
Knowledge of audience segmentation and database management
Familiarity with online optimization and analytics tools
Bachelor’s degree or related experience Contribute to meaningful journalism by developing supporter relationships at The Walrus.
