Corporate Accountant Location: Hybrid - Oakville, ON (3 days/week in-office, 2 days remote) Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Our client is a growth-oriented, publicly traded real estate company in Oakville, Ontario. With a high-quality portfolio, our client continues to pursue accretive growth opportunities across the country. They are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team, supporting the organization's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles and public filings.

A collaborative, fast-paced team environment with genuine opportunity for growth What You'll Do - Prepare corporate periodic journal entries, including intercompany transfers, bank reconciliations, GST/HST filings, and accruals/amortization related to debt and G&A; expenses
Prepare account analysis, reconciliations,



and continuity schedules in line with accounting standards
Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits by preparing analysis and working papers for auditor requests
Assist with year-end income tax deliverables, including legal entity financial statements
Support cash management, including coordinating electronic payment setup and approvals for acquisitions and operating expenses
Contribute to the Monthly Finance Report, Quarterly Financial Statements, MD&A;, and other public filing materials
Assist with the annual budget process and periodic forecasting
Support ad-hoc projects such as acquisition due diligence, process improvements, and system upgrades What You Bring - Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
Actively working towards CPA designation is considered a solid asset
1-3years' of related accounting experience, or equivalent co-op/internship experience
Real estate or REIT experienceis an asset
Exposure to Yardi, Workiva, or other ERP systems is an asset
Strong Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency with the broader Microsoft Office suite
A proactive, high-energy self-starter who enjoys collaborating across teams and thrives in a dynamic environment
