Pioneer Dental is a new, modern family dental clinic in Kitchener looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join our team on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
As a newly opened practice, we are focused on creating a welcoming experience for our patients and building a strong, supportive team. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who would like to grow with a new dental practice from an early stage.
The position will initially be for Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the potential to add more days as patient demand grows.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist with general dental procedures
Prepare and turn over operatories between patients
Take dental radiographs as required
Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Assist with instrument processing and maintaining clinical areas
Help ensure patients feel comfortable and welcomed
Maintain accurate and organized clinical workflow
Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienists and front-desk team
What We’re Looking For
Dental assisting education or certification
HARP certification for dental radiographs
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organized and comfortable working in a team setting
Commitment to excellent patient care and infection control
Experience in a dental office is an asset
