Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction activities on-site, supporting the installation and maintenance of infrastructure projects, and ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the work process. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and perform a variety of manual tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites, including traffic and pedestrian control
Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to support construction activities
Perform general labour tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and material handling
Support the installation of piping, structural components, and other infrastructure elements in road, sewer and water or related industries




Follow safety protocols to ensure a protected working environment for all team members
Assist with site cleanup and organization to maintain a tidy work area
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools is desirable
Solid understanding of safety procedures in construction environments
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
Basic knowledge of road, sewer and water industry standards is a plus
Valuable communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills related to civil construction projects

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
