Join ARC’s recent generation of energy professionals as a Geoscience Summer Student in Calgary. Engage in project-based work that fosters collaboration and practical learning with industry experts. This chance is for two Geoscience Summer Students for a 4-month term starting in May 2027.
Ideal applicants are motivated second- or third-year Bachelor’s students with exceptional analytical skills and a desire to learn. Collaborate closely with seasoned geoscientists on diverse projects within the energy sector. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate geoscience data for oil and gas potential
Analyze and interpret wireline logs
Map stratigraphic units and structural data
Develop 3D models for oil and gas reservoirs
Work with core samples to enhance analysis Requirements:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program focusing on Geosciences
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Related experience is beneficial
Ability to independently drive tasks within a team
Interest in pursuing an energy sector career Gain valuable skills and insights into the energy industry through your internship at ARC.
