Our busy medical centre seeking an experienced, hardworking and dedicated individual for the position of an administrative assistant.

This position requires a well-organized individual with excellent communication skills, who can function independently as well as part of a team. This professional must display a courteous image in person and over the telephone, must be computer literate and demonstrate superior communication, organizational and time management skills. REQUIREMENTS - Minimum of two years’ experience is required from a health clinic environment and/or completion of Medical Office Assistant program at a recognized post-secondary institution - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and attention to detail abilities. - Excellent working knowledge of computer operations - Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling appointments




Answering telephones in a timely and qualified manner
Providing general information to patients - Checking in patients upon arrival; validating health cards
Document processing: filing, scanning, faxing
Exam room set up, maintenance and organization
Facilitate communication between physicians and patients with appropriate documentation
Maintain patient confidentiality

Compensation to be determined depending on qualifications and experience.
