Plainsman Mfg. Is looking for an engaged and dedicated Saw Operator to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. We are looking to add to a team that values safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork in a production-focused manufacturing setting. The saw operator is someone with a desire to learn and improve, and who can accept additional responsibilities and overtime work.
Hours: Full time
Start date: Immediately
Location: In-person
Role Responsibilities
Machine operation and maintenance
Produce quality work
Measurement with calipers and tape measure
Forklift operation
Troubleshoot small issues and make corrections
Role Requirements
High School Diploma
A valid drivers license and vehicle
Understanding of Basic Lean principles
Punctual
Organization skills
Prioritizing and balancing work load
Interaction / communication with rest of the shop
Work Location: In person
