Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Roll Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, safety, and preparation, with a particular focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine. As a Roll Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi roll dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and present sushi roll dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Stay updated on current food trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service by accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sushi Roll Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling,



safety practices, and meal preparation techniques.
Familiarity with various types of rolls, ingredients, prep, and cooking methods.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to food presentation.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Must Haves:

· Must have a previous experience as a Sushi Roll Chef

· Open availability- including mornings, evenings, and weekends

· A desire to grow and learn in a agile work workplace
