JOB PURPOSE:
ACCOMPLISH QUALITY GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Safely & efficiently perform lawn and garden maintenance using power mower, grass and hedge trimmers and other landscape maintenance equipment. Supervise and co-ordinate above activities performed by assistants ensuring work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
MAINTAIN LANDSCAPE ENVIRONMENTS
Cut lawns, edge, fertilize, weed and cultivate gardens, deadhead, prune shrubs and trees, maintain, and assess and trouble-shoot irrigation systems as required.
ENHANCE GROUNDS
Spread soil, manure and mulch, aerate, overseed and plant as required.
ASSURE QUALITY CLIENT RELATIONS
Assess potential problems and improvements and meet client requests and concerns in a timely, friendly and courteous manner. Leave each property clean and maintained before proceeding to next location.
ADHERE TO THE TRAINING MANUAL
Carry out all aspects of work in adherence to the Employee training manual.
MAINTAIN ASSIGNED VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
Perform daily/weekly maintenance and servicing.
ADHERE TO GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Service all assigned properties on a weekly basis in a safe and efficient manner, maximizing profitability.
SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE
Be available to provide protected,



efficient and damage-free snow removal service in a timely manner.
KEEP RECORDS
Keep accurate electronic records and submit them daily.

JOB AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Driver’s License
Secure & efficient operation of small engine equipment
Secure & professional operation of a truck and landscape trailer
Knowledge of all related hand & power equipment
Knowledge in lawn and gardening maintenance practices including plant identification
General knowledge of irrigation systems and related part requirements
Have ability to encourage & promote teamwork
Have valuable oral communication, job task planning & organizing, writing & reading text
Complete knowledge of company safety standards, procedures and policies and adhere to such
Adhere to company dress code to reflect a neat and professional image
Embrace a culture of continuous learning
