Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreperson to join our team. As a Civil Foreperson, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing underground civil installation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will supervise a team of workers and collaborate with Site superintendents, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. Our projects range from Chilliwack to West Vancouver.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate construction activities in office
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Ensure compliance with regulations, and safety standards
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Manage project budgets and track expenses
Ability to collect slips and complete paperwork to be submitted daily
Provide guidance and mentorship to construction crew members
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process





Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Civil Foreperson or similar role in the construction industry (Minimum 2 years)
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
Familiarity with budgeting and construction estimating processes
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge of quality control procedures in construction projects
Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including engineers, subcontractors, and crew members
