Hope Beyond Barriers is a growing non-medical in-home senior care company dedicated to helping seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

We provide personalized support based on each client’s individual needs, with a focus on companionship, comfort, safety, and meaningful connection.

The Position

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy individuals to join our growing team as Caregivers / Senior Companions.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors and wants to make a meaningful difference in their day-to-day lives.

Responsibilities

Depending on the needs of each client, responsibilities may include:
Providing companionship and social interaction
Assisting with housekeeping and household tasks
Preparing simple meals
Supporting seniors with daily routines
Accompanying clients on walks, errands, or appointments
Participating in wellness and recreational activities
Providing non-medical personal support
Communicating respectfully with clients and their families




Helping clients maintain a secure and comfortable home environment

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:
Compassionate, patient, and respectful
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
Able to communicate professionally with seniors and their families
Responsible and trustworthy
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Willing to complete a criminal record check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Previous experience working with seniors or providing caregiving support is an asset
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation is an asset

Availability

This is currently a part-time/casual position, with hours based on client needs. As Hope Beyond Barriers grows, additional hours may become available.
