Barista — Fenyk, Olympic Common (Calgary)

Fenyk Coffee and Social is hiring a full time barista to join our team.

About the Role
As a barista at Fenyk, you'll be the face of our Olympic Common location — crafting quality coffee and creating a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages to Fenyk's quality standards
Take orders and operate the POS system accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
Provide friendly, attentive customer service
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Support opening and closing duties as needed
Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods





What We're Looking For
Previous barista or customer service experience is an asset, but not required — we'll train the right candidates
Genuine passion for coffee and hospitality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time hours, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Able to get to work reliably; living in or near the Olympic Common community is preferred
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced workplace
