Early Years Teachers

Kindergarten to Grade 6 Start Date: ASAP

The Division:

Evergreen School Division is located in the Interlake region of Manitoba, bordering the shores of Lake Winnipeg from Chalet Beach north to Hecla Island. The Division office is located in Gimli, approximately 90 KM north of Winnipeg. The school community is culturally diverse and provides quality learning prospects to students in eight schools located in four communities (Winnipeg Beach, Gimli, Arborg, and Riverton).

Teacher Candidate Qualifications:
A valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Early Years teaching experience
Ability and desire to develop solid relationships with students and staff
Knowledge of strategies to support Indigenous learners in a cross-cultural setting




Experience with a variety of learning needs
A willingness / ability to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school
Knowledge of strategies re: Indigenous Education and Inclusion
Commitment to involvement in a highly cooperative school culture
Knowledge and experience in current instructional / assessment practices
