DVMAccounting is a local CPA firm located in Brampton. We are rapidly growing with a solid client base. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant with a minimum of one year recent experience in audit & review engagements in a public practice to join our firm.

Roles and Responsibilities
Planning, execution and completion of audit and review files
Completes and oversees other's work on audit files
Prepare Personal, and Corporate income tax returns
Perform Bookkeeping and other administrative responsibilities
Prepare T4 and T5 returns
Prepare compilation engagement reports with relatively little guidance within the budgeted time frame
Prepare and file WSIB and HST returns
Dealing with government agencies such as CRA and WSIB to resolve client issues

Qualifications
University degree or college diploma, CPA designation (or pursuing)
Experience with CaseWare is a must
Public accounting experience in Canada is a must
Ability to perform audit,



review and compilation engagements, prepare T1 and T2 tax returns, and filing HST returns, WSIB returns, preparing payroll, T4s and T5s.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Cantax or Profile or Taxprep
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Confident and takes initiative to work effectively and efficiently.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with the clients, team members and outside parties

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
