Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and consistency
Handle food safely by adhering to hygiene standards, proper storage procedures, and sanitation protocols
Serve food efficiently to customers or staff in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately




Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels needed for meal prep
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards
Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking tasks with attention to detail
Strong understanding of the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness and safety
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers or colleagues
Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and adaptability
Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully
