Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an prospect to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a dynamic food service setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Ensure all food is handled safely and prepared in accordance with sanitation and food safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area, adhering to sanitation standards
Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers,



answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Manage time effectively to handle peak hours without compromising quality or speed
Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
