Job Description

Montesanto Bakery is looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Clerk (Front End) to join our team. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who is friendly, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will be the face of our bakery—assisting customers, handling orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming front-end experience.

Responsibilities
Greet and serve customers in a professional and friendly manner
Take and package orders (pastries, cakes, deli items, hot table)
Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front counter and display areas
Restock products and assist with basic merchandising
Support team members as needed during busy periods

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older




Previous customer service experience preferred (bakery or food service is an asset)
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be reliable and punctual

Availability Requirements (Important)
Must be available to work all major holidays
Must work a minimum of 2 weekdays
Must have open availability on weekends
Must be able to work both opening and closing shifts
