POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Millwork Assembler, you will be able to understand and read blueprints and fabricate doors and boxes, based on the drawings. The fabrication will be performed with a combination of manual machines/tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings.
Promote secure work practices in the plant i.e. lock-out procedures
Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other products.
Install cabinetry hardware such as hinges and knobs.
Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
Trim, smooth and shape surfaces using a variety of tooling.
Make minor adjustments and repairs to assembled pieces.

QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience running manual woodworking equipment such as drills, saws, sanders, and shapers.
Ability to read and understand CAD/blueprints.




The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands, occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, some climbing with balancing, and significant finger dexterity.
Ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods.
