Job Title: Gas Station & Food Service Associate

Location: Newmarket, Ontario

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking employee to join our team. This role involves working across both our gas station/convenience store and our in-store burger operation.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable multitasking, working independently, and serving customers in both areas when required.

Responsibilities:
Serve customers at the gas station and convenience store
Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, credit, lottery, and other transactions
Prepare burgers, fries, and other menu items according to our standards
Monitor and prepare Uber Eats and DoorDash orders
Keep the burger shop OPEN and available during scheduled operating hours
Ensure delivery tablets, OPEN signs, and ordering systems remain on unless instructed otherwise by management
Maintain cleanliness of the gas station, food preparation area, counters, equipment, and workstations
Restock products and supplies when required
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
Complete opening and closing duties
Communicate immediately with management if there are any problems, equipment issues,



or difficulty managing both areas
Provide friendly and professional customer service

Requirements:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working both the gas station and food-service side
Able to multitask during busy periods
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication and customer-service skills
Comfortable handling food and cleaning equipment
Previous cashier, restaurant, rapid-food, convenience-store, or customer-service experience is preferred
Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Must be available for weekend and/or evening shifts

What We Are Looking For:

We need someone who takes ownership of their shift. Because the gas station can be quieter at certain times, employees are expected to manage both areas and ensure customers can continue ordering from the burger shop throughout operating hours.

Job Type: Part time / Full-time availability considered

Pay: Starting at $17.60 per hour
