About the Position:
This position is to cover a maternity leave for a one year contract.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a secure, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. You will plan and implement engaging activities and lessons that foster children's growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children
Observe and assess children's development and progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning workplace for all children
Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children's development
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and development
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Experience working with children
Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
