Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter, Apprentice, Labourer to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate will have a solid interest in woodworking, construction, and building techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Assist experienced carpenters with framing, formwork, and general carpentry tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project execution
Support concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and other structural work
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure project efficiency and safety
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times

Skills
Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction equipment




Knowledge of masonry, concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and flooring installation is a plus
Experience or familiarity with woodworking, cabinetry, tile laying, or drywall finishing is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when required
Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Handyman experience or electrical/plumbing experience is beneficial but not required
Willingness to learn new skills such as construction estimating or manufacturing processes

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $18.36-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
