Our mission is to increase the availability of genetic testing and enable clinicians to access, manage, and reanalyze genomic data as part of ongoing patient care.We are seeking a clinical laboratory geneticist to serve as the clinical lead for our diagnostic testing services. This individual will oversee variant interpretation and day-to-day clinical operations, while playing a central role in shaping the development of our clinical infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, contribute to strategic decision-making, and help define the long-term structure of our clinical operations.This is a permanent position, initially structured as part-time (0.5 FTE), with an anticipated transition to full time within the first 3-5 months as operations expand. This is a hybrid position based in Vancouver, BC, however remote options may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Qualified applicants outside Vancouver, BC are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical interpretation of variants identified through molecular diagnostic testingLead and oversee the variant analysis team, including workflow coordination and quality oversightEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements within a robust quality management frameworkSupport the development, validation,



and continuous improvement of clinical workflows, analytical pipelines, and reporting systemsCollaborate closely with leadership on clinical operations, strategic planning, and external partnershipsQualificationsPhD or MD fellow of the Canadian College of Medical Genetics (CCMG) in Molecular Genetics or Genetic & Genomic Diagnostics or equivalent certification with the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) (required)Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting (2–3 years preferred)Demonstrated expertise in clinical variant interpretation and familiarity with current bioinformatic methodsStrong knowledge of Canadian laboratory standards and regulatory frameworksProven leadership, organizational, and operational skills in a clinical settingCompensation & StructurePay range: $180,000 – $220,000 (full time)Employee stock options structured to provide significant long-term financial participation in company growthFlexible work structure aligned with a phased transition from part-time to full-timeAdditional InformationThis is a foundational role within the organization, suited to an individual who is interested in long-term leadership and meaningful ownership in a growing company.
