Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the effective operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and medication management, with prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings preferred. Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Manage inventory by stock checking, labeling, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions
Support medication reconciliation processes and ensure compliance with safety protocols




Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions
Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements
Prior experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and medication administration procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining accuracy
Certification or training as a pharmacy technician is a plus but not mandatory
Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety standards

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
