MPI Morheat Inc. is currently seeking full-time Assembler to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. We will train the right individual but experience in a manufacturing workplace is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
Cut, bend and fasten pieces of sheet metal
Drill hole in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting or soldering
Assemble all parts to get the final product
Flexible to assist with other duties which may arise
Clean work area as required

Requirements:
Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing workplace is an asset
Sheet metal experience/knowledge but not essential
Must have good mathematical skills; ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Read and interpret assembly drawings
Follow set instructions, job orders, recording information
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for long periods of time.

Able to read, write and speak English
Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:
Technical Certificate; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
