We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operators who are experienced in Drapery manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products efficiently and accurately.
Duties
Set up and operate various types of sewing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines
Monitor machine operation to detect and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output targets
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical problems and improve workflow efficiency
Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and machine maintenance logs
Skills
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing environments; sewing or textile production
Solid understanding of sewing machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and workflow coordination
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, work orders, and safety instructions
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
Job location: Woodbridge by Hwy 7 and Hwy 27
Shift timings: 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
