Columbus Meat Market is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Full time Cashier to join our busy retail butcher shop.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a reliable, long-term position and wants to become part of our team. Weekend availability is required, but we are closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
Process cash, debit, and credit payments
Accurately weigh, price, and enter products
Bag and package customer purchases
Answer customer questions about products, prices, and availability
Assist customers with product selection when needed
Keep the checkout and front retail area clean and organized
Help stock and organize the retail area
Work closely with the meat counter and production team
Assist with general cleaning and other duties as required





What We're Looking For
Full-time availability
Weekend availability, including Saturdays

Strong customer service and communication skills
Good attention to detail
Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset
