We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide essential nursing care to patients in within Innovations Health Clinic. Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
Assist with basic procedures, such as skin biopsies and pap smears.
Collaborate with the healthcare team, specifically our family doctors.
Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe setting for patients
Qualifications:
Valid LPN license in Alberta.
Experience in direct patient care is preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
