Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience or interest in food preparation, cleaning, and supporting kitchen operations. Duties
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for kitchen staff
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet health and safety standards
Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and assisting with food service as needed
Buss tables during meal service to ensure a clean dining workplace
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various support duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Experience with bussing, food preparation, cooking, or culinary activities is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Robust teamwork skills and willingness to assist others in the kitchen setting
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about culinary operations and hospitality services
