Job description:

A pharmacy assistant's job is to assist the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the daily tasks of a community retail pharmacy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greeting patients and gathering/confirming pertinent patient and prescription information prior to filling.
Data entry of patient care information.
Third Party adjudication.
Packaging prescription medications (vials, compliance packs and other)
Receiving and managing pharmacy stock (stocking, pulling expiries).
Communicating with clients by phone/email/fax.
Handling customer prescription pick ups.
Basic surface cleaning and tidying of pharmacy work spaces.

Job Qualifications:




Minimum 5 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Proficient computer/data/entry skills.
Proficient written and verbal English.
Proficient organizational skills and detail orientation.
Solid communication and team working skills.
Demonstrated customer service experience.

Schedule Details:
30 to 40 hours work weeks. Flexibility of hours which includes 4 to 5 weekdays (approximately 9:00AM to 5:00PM, 10:00AM to 6:00PM) and every second or third Saturday (10:00AM to 2:00PM).

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
