Job Summary

We are currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator for a full time position in a freezer/cold-storage environment in Mississauga.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment, including Raymond Reach, Dockstocker, Counterbalance, and Walkie. Experience operating a Swing Reach forklift is an asset but is not required, as training can be provided to the right candidate.

Because this is a full-shift freezer position, previous experience working in a freezer or cold-storage workplace is required.

Responsibilities
Safely operate Raymond Reach, Dockstocker, Counterbalance, and Walkie equipment
Move, load, unload, and store products throughout the warehouse
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in narrow aisles and storage areas
Perform order picking and put-away as required
Work safely in a freezer/cold-storage environment for the duration of the shift
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues
Maintain accurate inventory and product handling practices
Keep work areas clean and organized




Perform other warehouse duties as required

Requirements
Previous warehouse forklift experience is required
Hands-on experience with:
Raymond Reach
Dockstocker
Counterbalance
Walkie
Previous freezer/cold-storage experience is required
Swing Reach experience is preferred but not required
Ability to work a full shift in a freezer environment
Solid safety awareness and attention to detail
Ability to safely lift and move products as required
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid forklift certification is an asset

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Available Shifts:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Full-time position with consistent hours.
