Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shellstock Worker to join our team. As a Shellstock Worker you will be responsible for supervising the processing and handling of shellfish products. This is a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Duties:
Sorting, and grading of shellfish products
Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supervisors for timely replenishment
Maintain accurate records of shellfish inventory and production activities
Oversee the packaging and labeling of shellfish products
Train and mentor new employees on proper handling procedures
Conduct regular inspections to identify any quality issues or defects
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a seafood processing environment preferred
Solid attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent organizational and time management skills




Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes
Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations in the food industry

Skills:
Ability to effectively work on a team and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
