Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to champion safety protocols across construction sites. Duties
Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and enforce safety standards
Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans in collaboration with project management
Ensure all workers are trained on safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
Coordinate with construction management software tools to track safety compliance and report progress




Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce best practices and address concerns
Maintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation

Skills
Proven experience in construction safety management or related roles within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites (e.g., OSHA standards)
Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation
Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and report findings clearly
Ability to identify hazards quickly and implement effective mitigation strategies
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records
Energetic mindset with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous safety improvement

Pay: $30.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week
