Estimator – General Contractor (10+ Years Experience)

We are hiring a Senior Estimator with 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically working for a general contractor. This role is ideal for an estimator who excels at preparing bids, reading drawings and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, and building accurate project schedules.

⭐ Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed, competitive construction bids for commercial and industrial projects
Build and maintain project schedules using industry‑standard tools
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and pricing breakdowns
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing
Review tender documents, identify risks, clarifications, and exclusions
Maintain organized proposal documents, templates, and submission records
Track deadlines and ensure timely, complete bid submissions

⭐ Required Experience & Skills




10+ years’ experience as an Estimator for a general contractor
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and blueprints
Proven experience preparing accurate, competitive bids
Ability to develop and manage construction schedules
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong reading, writing, and proof‑reading skills
