We are hoping for an Assistant Catering Manager to join our energetic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operation of catering services, ensuring seamless execution of events. You will help cook, polish plates and silverware, and assemble the catering orders. Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily catering operations, ensuring timely and efficient service for all events
Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and client specifications
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during events
Assist with kitchen operations, including food presentation, serving logistics, and ensuring adherence to health guidelines
Experience
Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
Extensive food preparation and cooking experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
Experience in managing teams, conducting interviews, and leading staff effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling practices, and kitchen operations
Background in restaurant or hotel management is highly desirable
Previous roles involving serving, bartending, or barista experience will be considered an asset
Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced workplace
