Assignment:
Part time 0.45 FTE Educational Assistant position
Tuesday/Thursday and the occasional Friday
Working with students in the Kindergarten program
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
Duties will include providing assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:
Experience working with students with complex needs in a Kindergarten classroom
Ability to formulate robust and healthy relationships
Effective oral and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive workplace
Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs
Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals
