The Township of Larder Lake is seeking a ski lift operator.

Ski Hill Hours of Operations: Wednesday, 5pm - 9pm, Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm

Duties & Responsibilities:
Load and unload guests safely on the T-bar lift
Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect the safety of our patrons
Check lift tickets and passes for validations
Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log
Maintain an orderly and fair flow through of lift riders
Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
Responsible for snow maintenance (i.e. grooming)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all patrons
Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance




Recognize incidents that require documentation – fill out appropriate paperwork correctly
Read and understand company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Maximum Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined – with ability to identify mechanical problems.
Current working knowledge of Health and Safety code.
WHMIS training.
Standard First Aid CPR
Valid G driver's license or skidoo license
Able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
