Class 1 Driver – Live-Bottom Experience

We are hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will safely haul and unload materials using live-bottom trailers while providing dependable, professional service on every job.

Responsibilities
Operate tractor-trailer and live-bottom equipment safely and efficiently
Haul aggregate, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials at designated locations
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery tickets, and inspection records
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and equipment operators
Keep equipment clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Follow transportation regulations and all company and jobsite safety procedures

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean or acceptable driver’s abstract
Proven experience operating live-bottom trailers
Solid backing, maneuvering,



and jobsite driving skills
Knowledge of load limits, weight distribution, and cargo-securement requirements
Able to work extended hours, early mornings, weekends, and overtime when required
Comfortable working outdoors and around active construction sites
Dependable, safety-conscious, and qualified
Experience hauling aggregate or asphalt is considered an asset
