As an Activity Aid based in Surrey, BC, you will coordinate and lead various activities that meet the diverse recreational needs of seniors. This part-time position requires a proactive mindset, robust organizational skills, and experience working in long-term care settings. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate engaging leisure programs
• Organize monthly resident events and activities
• Produce informative newsletters to keep residents updated
• Collaborate with community organizations for events
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for all activities
Requirements:
• Experience in senior engagement roles
• Activation Certificate or similar experience
• Clear TB Skin Test and Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Strong written and oral English skills
• Ability to manage volunteers and aides
