Industrial Metals (2011) is looking for a reliable, versatile, team-player to join our Downstream team.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong work ethic, takes initiative, is reliable, follows instructions and adheres to the company's Health & Safety rules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Identifying, picking and sorting various pieces of ferrous and/or non-ferrous metal
Routine cleaning of work area and equipment as often as required
Recognize and report operational problems of machines
Operate equipment (when required and if certified) while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
Work in accordance with all company health and safety guidelines
Assist in other areas of the business including the warehouse, yard, or shop as the need arises
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Previous experience in manufacturing or construction-like settings is considered an asset
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (working in all weather conditions, standing for long periods of time, lifting of up to 50lbs)
Must be reliable and possess a good attendance record
Quick and attentive learner




Detail-oriented and consistent performer
Good hand-eye coordination
Valuable mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Working knowledge of safety standards
Good English communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to work professionally, respectfully with a positive attitude in a fast-paced working environment
