About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Professional Driver for long-haul routes, based in Kimberley . You will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles over extended distances, ensuring the secure transport of cargo and maintaining vehicle integrity. Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for long-distance transportation of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Plan and manage routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured,



and unloaded correctly and safely.

Requirements

- Valid professional driving license (e.g., Code 14) with an impeccable driving record.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a long-haul truck driver.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe driving techniques for long distances and wide-ranging road conditions.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on the road.
- Familiarity with the major transport routes across South Africa , particularly within the Northern Cape .
- Good physical condition and the ability to handle the demands of long-haul driving.
